It depends on the diagnosis if removable or fixed appliances are used because they have very different effects.

Some anomalies can be corrected by a removable appliance, others have to be treated by a fixed appliance.

Only by the use of a fixed appliance (braces) can teeth be moved in all three dimensions. That is why braces are often the best way to correct wrongly positioned teeth.

Regarding the special design of the braces I use, they are very small and put only small pressure on the teeth. This approach is very pleasant for the patient, sparing for the teeth and roots, which accelerates the treatment-time.

In the treatment of adults and children, fixed braces are needed to achieve an aesthetic and functionally perfect result. In this way a very short treatment-time can be achieved.
